Non-Healing Ulcers are wounds that will not heal even though they have been appropriately cared for. Many wounds are due to problems with getting blood flow to the wounds or problems with blood return from the wounds to the rest of the body. This can result in gangrene and possible limb loss. Additionally, non-healing wounds are susceptible to infection which, if left untreated, could lead to illness and death.
